Bandra West Tournament Emerges as Pivotal Community Engagement Initiative in Ongoing Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan

*Mumbai, June 21, 2025:* In a powerful reinforcement of Maharashtra’s sustained battle against substance abuse, Mumbai Police and the *Gali Mohalla Cricket League (GMCL)* united at Bandra West Ground on Saturday. The tournament – a strategic community engagement pillar within the state’s *Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan* – drew unprecedented public enthusiasm as six teams competed, embodying a shared commitment to a drug-free future.

*Spiritual leader Baba Inder Preet Singh* framed the gathering’s significance: “Every run scored here writes a new chapter of hope. This pitch is where we reclaim Maharashtra’s soul from addiction’s shadow.” *Aman Bandvi* (Global Midas Capital) affirmed corporate solidarity: “Our streets thrive when youth choose bats over drugs. The final was played between Bandra West police and Khar Danda Mohalla team, Bandra West police was given 44 runs to chase and felt short  by 18 runs.

*Bandra West Police Warriors* secured *2ND RUNNER-UP*

*Stallion 11* (Girls Thane) claimed *RUNNER-UP*

*DCP Dixit Gedam* emphasized the operational vision: “When officers and citizens share a pitch, we build trust that isolates peddlers. This is proactive policing at its finest.” Senior officers including *ACP Adhikarao Pol, **Sanjeev Dhumal Senior Police Inspector Khar Police station Mumbai, **Sanjay Marathe Senior Police Inspector Bandra Police station Mumbai, and **Vaibhav katkar Police Inspector (crime) Khar Police station Mumbai * led the engagement.
